In 2014 we all met at Yavapai College as freshmen Viticulture and Enology students. We began our friendship carpooling from Phoenix to Clarkdale to attend classes over several semesters. Classes turned into wine tasting dinners, planting vineyards together, and making wine. Our viticulture and enology aspirations & adventures merged in Dewey-Humboldt at The MV.
Mogollon Vineyards began in Snowflake, AZ by Keith and D'Alene Moore. At the time they were operating a cattle ranch and decided to pioneer planting a vineyard in Snowflake. In 2015, the earliest vintages of Mogollon wines were crafted in their winery located on the ranch. In 2017 they moved the operation to the current location in Dewey-Humboldt.
In the Fall of 2013 Troy and Hollie took a trip to Napa. They fell in love with the farming and craftsmanship of winemaking. They planted their first vines in 2015 in Dewey-Humboldt. In 2018 they moved to the Dewey-Humboldt area pursuing their dream of becoming emerced in the blossoming Arizona Wine Industry.
